Mr. Tarras is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.
In addition to operating his own practice, Mr. Tarras is a consultant to several local practitioners.

Mr. Tarras has over 25 years of tax and accounting experience. He began his accounting career in January of 1985 in Denver, Colorado where he was employed in the tax department of McGladrey, Hendrickson, and Pullen, then the 12th largest accounting firm in the country.
He moved to Southwest Florida in late 1986. He worked as the primary tax specialist for a local firm. He prepared and reviewed individual, corporate, fiduciary, estate, and partnership tax returns for a wide spectrum of industries.
In January of 1991 Mr. Tarras began his tenure with the Internal Revenue Service. He was an Internal Revenue Agent in the Fort Myers, Florida office. He examined the tax returns of a wide variety of industries and entities encompassing the entire array of businesses located in Southwest Florida. The last 8 years of Mr. Tarras's I.R.S. career was spent in the Large Business and International division as a domestic revenue agent. He examined entities with assets greater then $10,000,000. He regularly resolved complex tax and accounting issues.
Mr. Tarras obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration with a major of Accounting from Saginaw Valley State University.
Mr. Tarras obtained his Master of Science in Accounting with an emphasis in Federal Taxation from Colorado State University. He wrote his thesis on Grantor Trusts.
